Yes — the ThinkRich Naija app is completely free to download. Creating an account is free. Joining the leaderboard is free. You compete and earn real cash prizes from your performance in the quiz. There are no hidden subscription fees.
ThinkRich Naija is open to Nigerian citizens and legal residents aged 16 and above. Users under 18 require parental or guardian consent. Employees and immediate family members of ThinkRich Naija are not eligible to participate in prize-eligible competitions.

  • iOS: iPhone and iPad running iOS 14.0 and above. Download from the Apple App Store.
For the best experience, we recommend keeping your device's operating system updated to the latest version.

Yes, you can log into your account on multiple devices, but only one active quiz session is allowed at a time. If you start a quiz on one device and switch to another during a session, the session may be terminated. We recommend using one device per quiz session to avoid interruptions.
The app collects your profile information, quiz session data, device identifiers for analytics, and push notification tokens. We do not collect your location, contacts, camera, or microphone data without explicit permission. Bank details are only collected when you make a withdrawal request, processed securely through licensed payment providers. See our full Privacy Policy for details.
App updates are delivered through the Google Play Store (Android) or Apple App Store (iOS). Enable automatic updates in your store settings to always have the latest version. We recommend keeping the app updated as new versions may include bug fixes, new features, and performance improvements. Some features may require the latest version to function correctly.
How to Play
6 questions
ThinkRich Naija uses an individual high-stakes elimination quiz format — not multiplayer. You answer questions one at a time, each building in difficulty. Get one wrong and your session ends. Answer correctly all the way through and you win the top prize. There are no second chances within a single session — your knowledge, speed, and calm thinking are your only tools.
If you answer a question incorrectly, your quiz session ends immediately. You keep whatever prize you had already "secured" from a previous level. If you haven't reached a secured level yet (Questions 1–4), you win nothing from that session. From Question 5 onwards, each level you reach locks in its prize — even if you fail on a later question.
The current in-app prize ladder:
Q5: ₦5,000 Q6: ₦7,500 Q7: ₦10,000 Q8: ₦20,000 Q9: ₦30,000 Q10: ₦40,000 Q11: ₦50,000 Q12: ₦60,000 Q13: ₦70,000 Q14: ₦80,000 Q15: ₦100,000 (Grand Prize)
Questions 1–4 do not carry a secured prize. Failing on Questions 1–4 results in no payout for that session. Prize amounts are subject to change. Check the app for current values.
A standard quiz session contains up to 15 questions. The difficulty progressively increases with each question. You can also play daily challenge sessions which may have a different number of questions. Check the app for the current format of each quiz mode.
Yes. Each question has a countdown timer displayed on screen. If the timer runs out before you answer, it counts as an incorrect answer and your session ends. The time allowed varies by question level — harder questions generally allow more thinking time. Stay calm and trust your knowledge.
No. Once a quiz session is started, it must be completed in one sitting. Closing the app, losing internet connection, or switching away from the app during a question may result in your session being terminated and a failed answer recorded for that question. Ensure you have a stable internet connection before starting a quiz session.
Prizes & Payouts
5 questions
Open the App, go to Wallet › Withdraw, enter your Nigerian bank account details, and submit your request. Withdrawals are processed within 10 business days. You must meet the minimum withdrawal threshold shown in the App. Identity verification may be required before your first withdrawal.
Yes. A minimum balance threshold applies for withdrawals. The current minimum is displayed within the App's Wallet section. This threshold is in place to cover processing costs and comply with payment gateway requirements. You can accumulate winnings across multiple sessions before withdrawing.
Standard withdrawals are processed within 10 business days. TV show prize payments for verified winners are processed within 30 working days of confirmation. If you haven't received your payment within these timeframes, contact us at info@thinkrichnaija.com.
ThinkRich Naija does not withhold taxes on prize payments. You are solely responsible for declaring and paying any applicable taxes on winnings as required by Nigerian tax law. We recommend consulting a tax professional if you are unsure about your obligations, particularly for larger prize amounts.
Every month, the top two ranked users on the leaderboard win:
  • 1st Place: ₦300,000
  • 2nd Place: ₦200,000
At the end of each year, the top two users on the annual leaderboard receive special rewards announced by ThinkRich Naija. Leaderboard rankings are based on accumulated points. See the Leaderboard page for more details.
Points & Leaderboard
4 questions
Points are awarded for four key activities:
  • Referring friends: Earn points when users you refer sign up and become active.
  • Playing quizzes: Every quiz session you participate in earns points, win or lose.
  • Winning prizes: Higher prize amounts earned in quizzes translate to more points.
  • Daily streaks: Maintain a 7-day or 10-day consecutive login/play streak to earn bonus points.
The leaderboard ranks all active users by their total accumulated points. There are two leaderboard cycles: Monthly (resets each calendar month) and Annual (tracks the full year). The top two monthly earners win cash prizes. Only users with fully verified accounts are eligible for leaderboard prizes.
No. Points are non-transferable and are tied exclusively to the account that earned them. You cannot gift, sell, or trade points. Any attempt to manipulate points through multi-accounting or other fraudulent means will result in account suspension and forfeiture of all points and prizes.
All accumulated points, leaderboard positions, badges, and streaks are permanently deleted when you delete your account. This action cannot be reversed. If you are close to a leaderboard reward at the end of a monthly cycle, we recommend waiting until the cycle ends and your prize is processed before submitting a deletion request.
